At the risk of being a bit critical, aren’t some of these trends, things that have already been advocated as trends in previous years (such as video usage, customization and personalization of UI). The problem with trying to define or anticipate trends, is that while a lot of them can be measured based on the evolution of adoption of certain applications or patterns, others are unexpected and are a result of events that can dramatically alter how experiences are crafted and digested (case in point, the fantastic success of Coinbase, Robinhood and other financial services related apps, which have impacted onboarding experiences for instance).
